The Biggest Loser?… We are… Until we change our minds.

My fellow American readers and others who would like to elevate our understanding:

Who are we? What do we believe? How do we act on that understanding? How do we manifest our beliefs? And our intentions?

These are questions that most U.S. high school students right now have a difficulty in understanding, let alone answering. In some states half our kids don’t even graduate. That’s right. In the richest country on earth, we’ve achieved mediocrity and are mired in stupidity thanks to ignorance. And gun violence? Feel free to equate it to education. Because statistically, there is a correlation.

Thinking. Awareness. Understanding. Compassion. Unity.

If you believe in all of the above, then well, why not Obama?… Okay fine, he’s not your Washington insider. He doesn’t have the ‘real managerial experience’… (George W., the Governor of Texas, mismanaged everything he touched. How’s that for ‘experience’?)

But judgment, understanding, vision, and forethought… wouldn’t it be nice to experience these? Weren’t these what the framers of the Constitution had in mind?

It’s our choice. And I’ve never before forced my opinion onto others, but if we don’t vote Obama and vote McCain, then we’re seriously out-of-step. McCain is a vote for more fear and more pain vs. hope and the nearest thing to nirvana we could hope for.

You like pain? I’m tired of it. It’s up to you. And me. Every single one of us.

Be conscious. Vote consciousness. Vote a paradigm shift.

Is Obama likely to make mistakes? Everyone one of us makes mistakes. How do we grow and transform them? I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. His behavior so far has spoken volumes.
