The New Democracy
Obama WILL BE the Democratic nominee and he WILL WIN IN NOVEMBER. Hands down. He IS Change. He is Hope. Can he deliver? Of course yes, that remains to be seen. But I’m willing to take the gamble that others are. The man is perceptive. He understands how we’re off course, and sees the means to correct it. So why not give him the benefit of the doubt.
John McCain? He’s a good Senator. Let him stay there. He shouldn’t overreach as Bush did. Some people can be stars in a smaller universe.
I was once a great Hillary supporter and still admire her. She’s a force of nature. But she doesn’t embody a truly new design. Obama’s not scared of talking to our enemies. Does that mean he’s going to give in? Maybe, just maybe, he’s trying to find a way to co-existence that we don’t have right now. Maybe, just maybe, he can stabilize foreign interests in a way that we haven’t seen in recent eras.
Sorry Hillary and all her steel-hard ardent supporters, but Barack Obama is the new Bill Clinton. He’s going to win. And we should do everything to support that.
