One of my favorite new blogs, Mudflats.wordpress.com has all the latest facts and flip-flops (lies) on Alaska’s Pin-up Gov. Written by an Alaskan for continental reading.
Mudflats informed us that Palin likes to call herself “Valley Trash”. She was even spotted once wearing it on a T-shirt.
Of course that’s not the pic, but you get the idea. (And yes, valleytrash.com is a real site. Filled with classified ads up the Wasilla).
Anyway, Mudflats says that “Valley Trash” is a regional slur:
“Former State Senate president Ben Stevens (son of indicted Senator Ted Stevens, and currently under investigation himself) called what he perceived to be the under-educated redneck, rural population of the Mat-Su Valley where Sarah Palin is from, “Valley Trash”.”

Let’s see…McCain cheats on his wife with a younger and more attractive (at least after the accident) Cindy. Fast forward to 2008 and McCain inexplicably picks an inexperienced woman who is, you guessed it, younger and more attractive than his current wife. Armed with that hindsight into his character, is there a person alive who thinks she didn’t hang something over his head (her ankles?) to get ‘tapped’ for this position? It’s curious that the liberal media hasn’t connected McCain’s propensity for younger women to his selection for a mate. Running mate, of course.

My first look at this pic gave me two flashbacks, the first is a takeoff from the original Saturday Night Live skit “Hi, I’m Sarah Palin and these are my breasts.” The second isa takeoff from the movie Full Metal Jacket, “This is my rifle and these are my breasts. One is for killing the other for fun.” Know it doesn’t rhyme, but wtf.

I just watched Joe Scarborough on Hardball say that Obama is using his campaign credentials as a type of “executive experience”, and that doesn’t cut it, however…lolol here is the reaction Scarborough and Pat Buchanan had when they realized Palin was picked! I am so not a Palin fan on any level, but that picture is totally photoshopped. You can tell by looking at the skin on her neck as compared to the skin on her chest. A journalist friend of mine with the proper software confirmed it is a photoshop.
That being said, I think it captures her ethos quite well. Very accurate representation.

Dear Willow – if this really is you and not some poser which it probably is -
I know you are very young and this must be hard on you. I’m sorry your mother is putting you through all this public scrutiny.
However, she is also a politician and is in one of the most visible roles that demands scrutiny. As well, all politicians are satirized. It goes with the territory.
Personally, I am completely opposed to Sarah Palin’s political viewpoints. I do not think they are the right choice for America at home or abroad.
You are going to run into half the population of America that feels the same way as I do about your mother as a politician.
As I said, I’m sorry your mother has thrust you and your family into the national spotlight in this way and that it’s painful for you. Contact whoever is in charge of your mother’s schedule and see if you can get an appointment with her. Sit down and tell her how you feel. I’m sure she’ll want to hear it.
And “Willow”, after 8 years of a Republican president, we Democrats are ready for change and responsible leadership. So we’re going to fight as hard for the presidency as Bush did in 2004.
It’s probably best you stay off the internet and away from the news.
By the way, I discovered that the person who left the Willow comment is indeed a poser – lives in Woodland Hills, CA. Typical Republican Rove tactics.

a) his not being her parent, guardian or teacher
b) her not being a ward of the state
She is legally able to consent at 16 years of age. You can look it up on the internet.
